Free and open to the public. Seats are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note public health requirements below.

Mini Locally Grown Dance December 2021 will be the first PMA student live-dance performance since March 2020. We are delighted to share that the program has continued to grow and create despite the pandemic.

This program is a reawakening of sorts with both new work and old favorites. The MLGD December 2021 program consists of four pieces. The first is an original collaborative work created by several choreographers working together in the dance composition course.

The second work involves eleven student dancers who will perform excerpts from a 1985 ballet choreographed to Bach’s Solo Cello Suite #1.

The third work involves four graduating seniors who collaborated with their faculty mentor, Byron Suber. This group will perform excerpts from a new piece set to music by minimalist composer David Skidmore.

The fourth work showcases the collaboration of visiting dance faculty, Miles Yeung, and his students.

MLGD December 2021 promises to surprise and, in some ways, comfort both the performers and the audience.

We hope to see you there!
